Day 1: Is it cold in here?

We’re definitely not ill

‘I’m not cold right now’ – but that hasn’t been so all day
We woke up –> Leila woke up and woke me up –> at 0800 (because I made Leila stay up late), we went out to St. Espresso (and social distanced) bought coffee beans for £5 a bag – top deal

  • Taste: 6.5 Was ok
  • People: 8 He was nice, was suprised that Leila worked at GS
  • Atmosphere: ? No one was there because of Corona

The streets still had a bunch of people and not many coughed. We grabbed loads of tuna from Sainsbury’s (good vegans). We let the cleaner in, who was 30 minutes early but she never spoke, apart from for coffee and biscuits which she came back and checked in on.

Leila worked throughout the day, but we had a nice lunch, I spent most of the day writing lists, contacting people and doing little jobs. Leila started feeling ‘cold’ and maybe sick after lunch, but kept on working at superhuman speeds – genuinely was super crazy fast sending emails.

We didn’t read the news or look much outside, we huddled inside together against the non-existent cold
We did a final shop in Waitrose, bearing in mind to keep our distance and spent around £120 on groceries + 3 bottles of wine. I wore gloves, we avoided people and hurried back. We finished off work, Leila had a shower and we had burgers, broccoli and kale
We had a bottle of Silenus Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

  • Boldness, Richness: 8
  • Dryness: 5
  • Sweetness: 6

We then went through the list that I’d made all day including make a blog
We added really lame things like teaching excel which made Leila very excited

Let’s try a blog
