Leila woke up around 8.30 and A followed her down an hour later, A started making a coffee and went up for a shower and when he came down it was on the counter with a little heart – which was super cute. A worked on getting amplify to work and then on going through the Ocean Protocol tutorial which he got working and he was super pleased. Alex also went on a quick run before chatting about Togo power analysis with Chris, which was super nice and she is super clever at stats. L was working hard and didn’t go outside, even though it was the hottest day of the year so far at 27 degrees. It was boiling and they couldn’t write too much blog because it was so hot. L did a Barre class at 12.30 but didn’t enjoy it much as she was so hot the whole time.
Leila was quite tired in the afternoon and so A proposed that they clean together as a break, it felt like it would be both a productive break and would make her feel good. In the evening, at 7pm, they had a date with the tennis courts, and they rushed down a new route over to the tennis courts at UCL. They were surprisingly good at tennis, and L was super good until she thought that she could do a killer shot at which point she fluffed it. A spent most of his time falling on the floor trying to do between his leg shots. The couple next to them were super serious, and didn’t laugh at all when A fell on the floor, L did though. They walked back happy and quite pleased with their tennis playing, and L decided they needed better balls.
For the evening dinner they had leftover veg, waffles and a fried egg. It was super good, and the veg tasted way better the day after, now they had fried some onions. They took turns running up to have a shower while each other prepped the food. Over dinner they chatted about their perfect work days and they discussed whether A’s working into the evening was healthy or a terrible relic leftover from McK days. They both wanted to work in teams though, and to be doing something purposeful. After a super nice day in the sun, they went to bed, and opened all the windows.
