Day 106: Best Pastries

Alex woke up feeling a lot better having seen Misha the day before. Leila still hadn’t left the house for a few days properly so they decided to go for a morning walk to get coffee. Alex tried Coffee Tree (new place) but L was too nervous so she went to Saint Espresso and it was not as good as Alex’s and had a longer queue…serves her right. Then she came back and they both started working. Alex made a huge lunch of burger with pastry and tomato, mustard and cheese. The other pastry was leftover veg. He was so excited by it that he came up to present his plate to Leila who was just finishing a pilates class. Leila had back to back calls until 5.30pm and she caught up with her manager who invited her to join a council for an incubator within Goldman. Alex checked all of the Croatia holiday details and L was v excited although still nervous as the UK government had not officially announced the air bridges yet so although no quarantine required on Croatia side, we still might have to quarantine coming back into the UK.

After work, Leila wanted a massage and they laid out the room really nicely with candles and yoga chill playlist. A gave her a back massage with tiger balm and some moisturiser and it was great. Then L called her grandma as it was the 14year anniversary of her grandad’s death and then A and L chatted about that night for a while. Then L gave A a massage for a while, though she’s not as good as he is. Then A made a beautiful omelette with leeks and L loved it and ate loads. Whilst he was cooking she did some Ismaili work. Then A started coding for a bit whilst watching Married At First Sight followed by Don’t Tell The Bridge where the husband took all the money and spent it on taking 6 guests to Vegas for the wedding. L found it so awkward she had to go upstairs and read instead. A came up shortly after and they headed to bed.
