Day 132: Working outside and Pri for pudding

L & A decided to head to Caravan instead of coffee at home, and after a sneaky move got onto a big table in the sun. They sat there tapping away with their respective Oat Flat Whites on their right hand sides. L was going through email as she didn’t have a call, while A worked away on his ddata work, changing the methodology successfully (which felt good).

L went to go get some food from Waitrose and brought back a super tasty croissant, she was trying to find filo pastry in order to copy Nigella but Waitrose failed in it’s purpose. A chatted to his friend Paloma who was applying to Mckinsey and gave her some case coaching while describing how McKinsey is a cult. He then headed home and joined L-dog.

They worked together, and L had loads on, she did Pilates, and every single other person in GS’s work (because they’re all on holiday – some in Spain), and also sorted the interns. A struggled away at dData but realised that maybe his thing did not do nowcasting which was the main purpose of the challenge. They were both a little tense with work so A went for a run while L was still pilatesing. L decided to join A, his run was basically a fast walk to the pub and they sat in Edinboro castle beer garden, L had a wine and A had the most expensive beer of his life (it was average). They came home much more relaxed and despite L’s promise to do work, L finished cooking her curry which was an amazing (but spicy) coconut version of Barazi which is East African. Meanwhile A was very unhelpful and sorted out the plastic draw because it annoyed him.

They sat down to eat dinner but realised Priyanka was in Camden so they invited them over post-dinner, L ran into the shower because she smells constantly and A prepped the downstairs by putting away their test kits (l is negative so it’s all good and we can talk about it openly). They (pri and her boif) came over and they chatted and all was well. A and L went to bed and ended up chatting super late because A is an idiot.
