They woke up after a bit of a shaky night, with A heading straight for his 10am Dungeons and Dragons session, whereas L had a whole load of work to do for the day. She was feeling a bit tense as she had a to-do list of a million random things she didn’t want to do (buying curtains, reviewing a document for her cousin, Ismaili work etc.) She also wasn’t feeling great with quite bad cramps but she chatted to her mum and then headed to Granger and sat at her usual spot and ploughed through quite a lot of the to-do list and then went to Waitrose to pick up food and drink for dinner the following night.
A’s D&D was intense, they were in the basement of a spooky house and they beat an evil spirit and then a bone monster. It had been meticulously planned by Chris but A felt bad that it was taking up all of the day while L was sitting downstairs our outside alone. He also hoovered the entire house while playing D&D.
L made a lunch and had her fave sourdough bread from Margot that she’d picked up the day before. She then put her pyjamas on (at around 3pm) and read on the sofa for a while. She really did not feel like herself at all that day. A sat with her for a bit but then started packing away a few things. Then they cuddled on the sofa for another few hours and also looked at some houses. L had prepared dinner in advance (miso veggies) and they shoved it in the oven with some sea bass but then returned upstairs to chat and completely forgot about it, and found it 22 minutes after the timer had gone off (and the seabass was quite stuck to the foil). Nevertheless it was a nice meal upstairs in their usual spot and they chatted about past relationships and openness before heading up to bed. They watched some of Nadia’s cooking to relax before bed and learnt how to make a salmon poke bowl.
