L woke up early and started working. She felt a bit poorly but ploughed on. She went to wake A up at 11am as she was worried he’d sleep through his WB call. He’d just woken up, having had a few nightmares in the night (boo). He did his call which lasted 15 minutes of which 2/3 was them reviewing the work they said they’d do in advance (no bitterness here). He was happy to be able to end his contract tho. L made some lunch of broccoli and soft boiled eggs that were slightly too hard, plus 2 types of toast and some potato cake for A. They sat outside briefly but L was distracted with work and feeling gross. A made her a ginger tea before heading off to meet Angus and Will in CDY.
They went to the Lighterman and sat and had beers in the middle of the rooftop. It kept raining so they moved a bit but it was still nice. L was on back-to-back calls from 2-6.30pm and moved upstairs to the sofa because she felt poorly. She stayed there until 7.30pm and by this point A had come back and was playing D&D downstairs. L felt rubbish and was a bit lonely so they made gnocchi together and then chatted to Anish, and went up to bed early.
They watched When Harry Met Sally and L watched with her eyes closed because of her migraine. Her stomach started feeling bad half way through and she was getting sharp pains in her lower abdomen. They ended up calling 111 at A’s suggestion about 2am, and L didn’t know where her groin was. A made her a ginger tea and a hot water bottle (a literal milk bottle) and it was crazy hot. They fell asleep about 3am and L continued to wake up with pain throughout the night.
