Sat 14th Jan – Sat 21st Jan
Saturday
Leila went to Ace in the morning with Tamara and they sat and had coffee for ages. Meanwhile, Alex was waiting for Shaun Paul to pick up the car to go to Blue Mountain but it was very delayed and he ended up having ramen by himself (less good than the week before ramen) but then set off and arrived at Blue Mountain around 4pm. Skiing was good but lots of beginners in the group. Was all pretty disorganised but A really enjoyed chatting with Justin, Jiaken & Shaun. The greens were all spread out so him and Justin had to go back and forth! Leila spent the rest of the day doing annual reviews, cooked dinner for herself and started watching a movie. Alex came back after midnight!!

Sunday
They woke up to a sunny Toronto for the first time in a while and they set off on a coffee explore to 135 ossingtons sister shop which was in a clothing store and had really nice vibes plus incense that L loved. The coffee was nice and L looked at pictures of fancy spas. On the way back, L was loving the sun on her face and felt sooo happy and then they walked past Badiali and there was no queue!! So they got impromptu pizza and it was crispy but flavoursome and they loved it. They then bought some fun items from the Japanese store and headed home where L made banana pancakes. It was a great food day. A watched NFL with his friends whilst L did some more work. In the evening they went to Soho House with Annie & Paddy which was lovely and they sat there for ages and then got 50% off. Annie also does legs up the wall, has a finger infection and also has the same acupuncturist.

Monday
They had the day off for MLK day. L woke up at 3.40 am to go to her MRI in Mississauga, A kissed her goodbye. she spoke to her mum on the phone on the way and the mri was smooth (very quick) and she was back in bed by 6am. They then had a lie in and woke up feeling quite good considering lack of sleep. They had no plans for the day but decided to go to a restaurant which is usually very busy but because it was Monday, it was fine. They ended up going to Cafe Landwer for a middle eastern brunch. A had a massive vegan shawarma which was great and L had a shakshuka. They loved the food and it was cheap. Then they decided to go to the beaches and walk because it was sunny. They took the tram and then walked along the beach trying to get as much sun as possible. They started listening to a podcast on Anduril whilst walking and L learnt so much about defence and A’s views. They wanted to go to Avling but it was closed so they ended up coming back and Alex made his Ramen – it was super good. The day ended with TeTu
