They went to a surprise jazz gig at 915 which was a gift for A for no reason. L had a nice whisky drink. They went to Ethica and read their books and ended up at Donna’s for brunch and had really great sandwiches and a brown butter dressing salad.

Alex went to the Marlies game in the evening and then went off to teach LEAD in Atlanta. He really enjoyed teaching people and felt great. They came back and then cooked a Xmas dinner for all their friends. They got Banoi bread, lots of cheese, full veg trimmings (brussels, beans, parsnips, potatoes etc) and Alex made the mushroom wellington main. Annie and Paddy brought a chocolate cake for dessert. We all did Secret Santa and it was such such good vibes. They hosted really well and everyone was really happy.

The next day they went to Bar Raval in the eve together and L was loving it, not sure why she was so happy. A was also happy hehe. Great bar, great music, nice mushroom shrimp tower thing. They went to La palette the next day! Big week of going out on weeknights and enjoying life. They also went to Joy Anonymous gig on Thurs night with Tamara and Will. And somehow went to lake Inez for a date night in between. They bought xmas presents and went to Found on the weekend, and then packed off to go to London.

British Airways made them delayed and annoyed. But they made it it.

Alex went to his flat in Southwark and thought the shower was broken but it wasn’t. On the Tues, they went to Lakes by Yoo to view wedding venues and then went to Stone Barn, Cripps Barn and the 3rd one. They really liked stone barn and the lady made them coffee there. Then they drove to Arabella and Davids house and Arabella made them a risotto and had such a chilled evening hanging with them in their home.

The next day they had cheese in Marylebone and then went to The Good Front Room in the Langham for a fancy dinner by Chef Dom (caribbean food). It was a great date night. Alex had dinner with Dave and L was seeing friends like Nicky Collins in the pub, Ruki and Abi at her house. We had a big family lunch with both fams in Hampstead at the pub and Charlie came. L was happy bc the sisters finally met each other! L and Liyana also had a cute date in hampstead walking and went to Ottolenghi.

Then it was Xmas and they spent their days with their families. A was with his cousins at Auntie Peons and L went to hemel hampstead with her family. The next week L saw Vyoma at the fancy spa and other friends too, she then went to go live with Alex in southwark and we went to Borough Market and bought granola and nice cheese. Cam and Dave came over and A went to buy pans for the flat. They also walked around and went to Roti King for a date then the wine bar in Embankment called Gordons then went to The Mulwray and got chinese steamed buns for dinner and then went to the Arcade food hall at the end for dinner. It felt like such a spontaneous food tour and day, typical of A and L.

On NYE they went to Sam’s house first to watch NFL and Alex won his fantasy league. Then to a BYOB Thai place with Alex’s fam and Saskia’s fam and then to HAdley gardens for LOTS more drinks and fireworks. It was cosy. The following day they had a breakfast with the fam made by Misha and then A and L walked to Barnes with Charlie in the rain then went to Khane for new year’s day and A spoke to everyone there, and L was very happy (and her dad even happier!)
