Day 107: Apple and Misha

A was feeling less happy again in the morning, and had tried to work on coding some of the Burmese township databases together. L meanwhile had been worrying about her call with trading (that in the end went really well). A had his coffee and had hid upstairs, when L went to find him and they chatted about how he’ll enjoy himself today – the cycle to Apple, and getting himself breakfast outside etc. He did indeed and got himself a Pret halloumi wrap and a coffee. He had his apple appointment at 12.15 and the place was super sterilised with loads of staff giving out masks, handsan etc. There were way more staff than customers. The lady in the genuis bar was great and gave him a whole new keyboard – which he was super pleased about. He then decided to walk home through Regent’s park.

While A was out, L demoed the API to trading, and it went super well, when A got back his laptop had arrived, and he then spent his time setting it up while L did her second trading call. They then talked through together what A’s thoughts were on deferral and the year ahead, he felt like he was still waiting to feel excited and secure about the rest of 2020. He’s unsure about location, what work he’ll be doing for QB and what will be going on in America. A & L invited Mish over for dinner and A quickly ran out to get food from Lidl, L went out for a walk to Kings Cross and picked up some Black Tahini, which we’re yet to try.

A cooked mushroom pasta and Mish arrived with Charlie, they had a glass of wine outside while L had a shower. They came back inside when it started raining and had a super nice chat over wine and pasta. It felt super cosy and nice with L and Mish agreeing on most topics. They moved onto G&Ts and A made L a mini cocktail. Mish then headed onto see George up North and L & A had a chill with their gins.
