Leila wakes up and she feels like she defo has the Cov. She’d been having a mini cough since the Monday, but by now it was for real. Leila told her team that she had COVID, and took a test. L’s mum said that she wouldn’t believe she had COVID until she took a test, as she’s called it so many times before. See below for proof of the strongest line imaginable. Alex made a breakfast smoothie which was made a little more difficult by the incredibly frozen spinach in it.

Leil decided to attend a couple of her calls that day but focus on recovery. She started watching ‘Love and Gelato’, but it was too trashy even for the Leil. Instead she started ‘The Sumer I turned Pretty’, which Alex watched a little while he was also working.
Alex started the morning with a call with the dData team. He wanted to clarify any last things that he had to complete before he moved out of an operational role at dData. They they then had an hour long convo with Henry about M&S tactics and focussing on a single customer persona. The persona convo was actually quite good and they think they can really hone in on multilateral research officers. Alex thinks it’s quite cool but the convos are often quite long and semi-tense. Alex was trying to sort all of his McK onboarding stuff but there craziness about having no plan for the next 2-weeks, no laptop and he wasn’t able to get back to the recruiting officer email.
Alex sat with Leil as she watched her program. She was loving it, so was Alex a little, he like Jeremiah. They talked a lot about jobs and why they need to do more networking and community engagement in a specific topic to be in more senior positions. They think this is something they really want to do. They also talked about the importance of friends to Alex and why he wants to go back to weddings. It was really good to chat even they didn’t get to a firm conclusion. They both understood where they came from.
Alex chatted to Dave and then part way through convo, got an email that the onboarding was going to be in Boston, he got very upset at the last-minute change to flying to boston in 2 days time. But he called all his contacts in HR and made an email explaining his situation.
They cooked dinner, they had unfrozen some salmon and they cooked potatoes, onions, collard greens and mushroom. It was super delicious and they loved it. They listened to feel good dinner and had a really nice dinner.

They watched final table in bed, it was Brazil. They had a really nice day, it reminded them of Lockdown in the UK and how much they enjoy each other’s company.
